Requirements

  • VMC machine operation (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas or similar controls)

  • Understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programs

  • Tool offset and job setting skills

  • Use of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.)

  • Knowledge of cutting tools and machining parameters

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

  • Basic troubleshooting and maintenance understanding

    1. Operate VMC machines according to the production schedule and drawings.

    2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets accurately.

    3. Perform tool setting, job setting, and offset adjustments as per requirements.

    4. Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure consistent in-process quality checks.

    5. Handle tool wear compensation and maintain dimensional accuracy.

    6. Maintain machine cleanliness, proper lubrication, and follow 5S & Kaizen standards.

    7. Identify and report deviations or machine/tool issues to the supervisor.

    8. Record daily production and inspection data in log sheets.

    9. Ensure safety norms and wear PPE at all times.

    10. Support improvement initiatives and production efficiency goals.
